Track Your Entries In SwimSwam’s Pick’Em Contest For the 2025 World Aquatic Championships

2025 WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS

At last, the pool swimming competition at the 2025 World Aquatic Championships is about to get underway. The action begins in just a few short hours, with the first prelims session kicking off at 10:00 pm ET on Saturday, July 26. As such, the Pick’Em contest for the championships is now closed.

You can track your picks in the master spreadsheet below. All personal identifying information has been omitted, but you can still find your screen name. As always, we will be posting throughout the week with updated standings for the daily prizes and the overall grand prize. Here are a few tips for following along:

  • Bookmark this page for the duration of the meet so you can easily find it.
  • Use the search function (ctrl+F on a computer) to find your screen name.
  • Don’t miss a minute of our meet coverage throughout the week!

Pick’Em Entries:

Scoring System

As a reminder, correctly picking a swimmer to place earns:

  • 1st – 7 points
  • 2nd – 5 points
  • 3rd – 4 points
  • 4th – 3 points

Correctly picking a swimmer to place in the top 4 but putting them in the wrong spot, will earn you 1 point.

Prizes

Many thanks to our 13-year partner, Speedo, for providing the prizes for the 2025 World Aquatic Championship Pick’Em contest! There are daily winners for the best performer on the day, then the entrant with the highest number of points at the end of the meet will earn the grand prize.

The Grand Prize Winner can select one of the Speedo tech suits  below:

 

The tiebreaker for prizes, if necessary, will be the most correctly picked winners in the relevant time period, then 2nd-place finishers, then 3rd-place finishers, etc. in the relevant time period.

Medal tallies shaping up to likely be:
Tier 1: USA
Tier 2: CHN, AUS, CAN in some order
Tier 3: ITA, FRA, GER, GBR, NAB in some order

Feel like we may see quite a few smaller swimming nations not on this list rack up 1 or 2 men’s medals each.
The women’s events may largely be swept by Tiers 1&2.
