On SwimSwam Podcast, we’re giving you an in-depth listen at all things swimming. Host Coleman Hodges welcomes guests and guest co-hosts alike to get perspective on our ever-changing swimming universe and break down the past, present, and future of aquatic sports.

We sat down with American record-holder Kieran Smith to talk about his swimming background, development at Florida, and the culmination of his hard work in his 4:06 500 free. Smith breaks down that race as well as what he thinks is the best race ever swum. We also dove deep into what it takes to swim a perfect 400m freestyle and how we might be able to break the magical barrier of 3:40 in that race.
