2015 FINA World Cup Round-up: Glimpse Into Upcoming Competitive Field

With the 2nd cluster of the 2015 FINA World Cup Series kicking off in Hong Kong this Friday, it is worth a refresher on what we know at this point in terms of which stars are slated to be at which stops.  In addition to Hong Kong on September 25-26th, the upcoming cluster also has competition in Beijing on September 29-30th and Singapore on October 3-4th.

The final cluster of the 2015 FINA World Cup series will see stops in Tokyo (10/28-10/29), Doha (11/02-11/03) and Dubai (11/06-11/07).  Several high-profile athletes have already been announced by UAE Swimming as scheduled to compete at the Dubai stop, including Americans Nathan Adrian and Tom Shields, along with Australia’s Melanie Wright, and Jamaica’s Alia Atkinson.

Sun Yang and Ning Zetao will NOT head for Hong Kong stop, according to local newspaper Apple Daily.
