10th Gophers Record Broken in 2015

MINNEAPOLIS – Golden Gopher Danielle Nack‘s performance in the 200-meter butterfly (2:13.40) at the opening night of the 2015 Speedo Sectionals at Minneapolis marked the tenth University of Minnesota school record broken in 2015 so far.
A mix of five short course yards, three long course meters and two diving records have been broken by seven different student-athletes. Brooke Zeiger, Danielle Nack, Yu Zhou, Jakub Maly and Matt Barnard will all return to Minnesota for the upcoming season.
Recent graduate Rebecca Weiland will be a graduate assistant coach at St. Cloud State University, and Kierra Smith will take the upcoming season off to train for the Olympics and is set to return for her senior season in 2016-17.
