Under the direction and guidance of the Head Coach, the Senior coach will work collaboratively with the senior coaching staff to develop national-level athletes and lead age-group and senior-level practice groups, as assigned by the Head Coach.

TEAM Culture Responsibility:

- Be exceptional in the application of positive, consistent, and effective motivation strategies when working with swimmers, parents, and coaching staff in relation to all aspects of the program
- Demonstrate a cooperative, prompt, and respectful communication style with swimmers, parents, community members, and staff
Wet-side Deck Responsibility:
- Lead group of senior and age group-level swimmers, and assist with other groups throughout the team as needed
- Create a season plan for lead groups that fits within the scope of group goals and objectives
- Administer daily workouts and maintain group attendance
- Attend swim meets as assigned (approx. 2 per month)
- Supervise and maintain a positive practice and meet environment
- Follow all USA Swimming policies, including SafeSport, and maintain current credentials
Dry-side Responsibility:
- Attend weekly meetings with Head Coach
- Manage group meet entries
- Send out weekly group update e-mail
- Conduct both group parent meetings and individual parent meetings as needed
- Utilize Team Unify and Meet Manager to create meet entry files, session reports, and programs for home-hosted meets. Maintain communication with visiting teams.
- May be required to complete additional administrative duties as assigned by Head Coach
Qualifications:
- USA Swimming Coach Member certification and in good standing
- Experience coaching national-level athletes preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Status:
- Full-time, exempt
