Naskret was faster on both 50s tonight compared to last night. She dominated the field, winning by over three and a half seconds. She has now won the title three years in a row as she won in a 52.52 back in 2024 and swam to a 51.52 in her win a year ago, both of which came when she was at Colorado Mesa. She will look to defend her title in the 200 backstroke tomorrow night, an event she also holds the Division II record in with a 1:53.25.
To add more context on how fast this swim is, her time tonight would sit at tied for 15th on the NCAA Division I women’s psych sheets for next week’s championships.

Amazing what you can do in your ninth year of eligibility.
