University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Receives In-State Verbal from Autumn Seebach

Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Autumn Seebach of Menomonee Falls, WI has announced her decision to swim for the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse beginning in the fall of 2021. She is a senior at Menomonee Falls High School and she has been competing year-round for Rocket Aquatics since 2019. Seebach’s first water sport was synchronized swimming. She joined the Menomonee Falls Dolphinettes at the age of 10. She qualified for Junior Olympics and was selected for National Talent camps through the age of 15.

I am excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and swimming career at the University of Wisconsin- LaCrosse! The coaches really stood out to me and I feel that I will be greatly accepted as part of the team. La Crosse has all the resources I need for my future and, in addition, is a beautiful area. Thanks to all my family, friends, and coaches for their endless support! Go EAGLES!

Seebach began her swimming career in middle school and continued through high school. In 2019, the Menomonee Falls High School junior qualified for her first Wisconsin DI State Championship for the 400 free relay. She led it off in a best time of 55.36. Senior year, Seebach qualified for the state meet in an individual event and 2 relays. She finished 13th in the 100 back, going a 58.90. She led off Menomonee Fall’s 200 medley relay and she anchored the 400 free relay.

In mid-March Seebach traveled to Orlando, FL to compete at the NCSA Junior Nationals, swimming the 50 free, and the 50, 100, and 200 back. She touched 100th, 74th, 83rd, and 81st, respectively.

Top SCY Times:

  • 100 back – 57.26
  • 200 back – 2:05.25
  • 200 free – 1:57.29

The Wisconsin-La Crosse Eagles will welcome Seebach to campus in the fall of 2021. She will make an immediate impact on the team as one of their top backstrokers. She would have been the fastest 100 and 200 backstroker during the 2019-2020 season. She would also have been the third-fastest 200 freestyler, giving her a chance to make the conference 800 free relay team.

UW-La Crosse were the 2020 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Champions. Sophomore Kaylie Svacina won three individual medals: a gold in the 200 IM and silvers in the 100 and 200 breast. Seebach’s times would have earned her spot in the A-finals of the 100 and 200 back, as well as in the 200 free. Her top 200 back time would have earned her a gold medal at the 2020 conference championships.

She will be a member of the Eagles’ class of 2025.
