Tyler Clary finished second on day one of the US Nationals in the 200m fly falling to Tom Shields. Clary failed to reel him in posting a time of 1:56.00 to Shields’ 1:55.09.
Shields took it out very aggressivley, leading the first 50 and hitting the 100 in 54.22.
