Oh, Canada! Two swimmers from the Great White North shared the women’s swimmer of the week title this week, and their teams will clash for the Big Ten title in just a few weeks.
Defending Big Ten champs Michigan (men) and Minnesota (women) combined to take the brunt of the conference’s weekly awards, with Purdue earning the final nod.
Wisconsin’s Matt Hutchins was named Men’s Swimmer of the Week, while Purdue’s Steele Johnson swept both the Diver of the Week and Freshman of the Week awards.
