Bucknell’s Kali Hyham scored 25 goals at the Mercyhurst Invitational, with five or more tallies in each of four wins, to lead Week 5 conference honorees.
Five collegiate water polo conferences named Week 13 players of the week, including the MPSF, which honored USC’s Paige Hauschild for her 100th career goal.
Although there were just 23 games played on Week 13, that did not stop the goal onslaught. Forty-seven players got in on the act as 51 efforts of three of more goals were recorded.
At the CWPA Division III Championships, Becca Dabrowski netted 27 goals in three games en route to All-Tournament Team and MVP honors. Dabrowski’s efforts led all scorers on collegiate water polo Week 12.
St. Francis Brooklyn’s Kelsey Snelgar broke her own single-season scoring record, upping her tally to 114 goals in 2019 with a 19 score haul last week, including a seven-goal effort vs. Villanova.
Penn State Behrend’s Lauren Wood set the school season record for goals with two against Connecticut College on Friday, upping her tally to 55 for the year. Kyra Christmas was the leading individual goal scorer of the week, putting in eight goals on 12 shots as #6 Pacific topped #13 Fresno State 16-8.
#15 Long Beach State’s Sarah Barker recorded five goals in a 13-7 win over #16 Wagner on Sunday and added four more in a 15-6 victory over RV Bucknell on Thursday. Barker was one of 24 players with at least one four-goal effort on Week 8.
