Rutgers swimming and diving continued their multiple day lead over their competition for the win at the Rutgers Invitational, including a school and pool record in the 200 backstroke by Vera Koprivova and a pool record in the 200 butterfly by Francesca Stoppa.
After trailing for the majority of the meet, the Columbia women’s swimming and diving team rallied for victories in the final two events to earn a come-from-behind victory over the Northeastern Huskies, 156-144, at the Uris Natatorium on Saturday afternoon.
The Brown women’s team beat out Columbia in the final event to secure the team win by 6 points.
The Columbia women’s team dropped 6 of 16 events to Cornell, beating them by 58 points.
Princeton’s Women’s team has maintained it’s undefeated season in Ivy League duals with their win over Columbia.
Yale won 11 of 16 events to claim victory over Columbia.
