Northwestern men’s and women’s swimming and diving teams capped off the weekend by winning a combined 19 events en route to defeating Cincinnati at the Keating Aquatics Center.
Rosary completed the 3-peat of IHSA girls state titles, and Oswego broke the 400 free relay record again in finals.
Sophomore Grace Cooper led the field in the 50 and 100 free, posting times of 22.37, and 49.60.
Illinois’ downstate girls are prepared to operate on the IHSA record book this weekend.
Miriam Guevara of Coronado High School and El Paso Aqua Posse in El Paso, Texas, has made a verbal commitment to Northwestern for 2018-19.
Jasmine Hellmer of Flint Hill School and Nation’s Capital Swim Club, has verbally committed to swim for Northwestern University’s class of 2022.
She was the runner-up in the 100 back at the 2017 IHSA State Championships, and also finished 5th in the 200 IM.
