Continuing its dominant season, the Boston University men’s swimming & diving team trounced Bryant, 167-130, while the women continued their late-season dominance in dual meets as it came away with a 174.5-118.8 win
After an impressive dual meet win on Friday night against Boston College, the UConn swimming and diving team was back in the pool less than 24 hours later and put forth a solid performance en route to wins against Williams College and Boston University on Saturday afternoon at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium.
The Terrier women topped the podium 10 times and swept three individual events, while the men posted 13 first-place finishes in a sweep of UMass on Saturday.
Sydney Lee, a senior at Thayer Academy in Braintree, Massachusetts, has signed a National Letter of Intent to swim for the Boston University Terriers next year.
Somerset Valley YMCA’s Kara Lydzinski has verbally committed to Boston University for 2017-18.
Michaela Rogers, of Dorman High School in Roebuck, South Carolina, and Y-Spartaquatics Swim Club, has committed to swim for Boston University beginning in the fall of 2017.
Munster Swim Club and Munster High School’s Megan Wimmer has made a verbal commitment to swim for Boston University in the fall.
Choate Joins Boston University’s 2019 class
Having dominated all four days of the meet, Navy won both the women’s and men’s Patriot League titles. Bucknell was able to hold on for second in the women’s meet, while Army moved up on day four to finish in second on the men’s side.

The Midshipmen men have widened their lead on their Patriot League rivals after two days of fast swimming. The Navy women are also in first place, but Boston University and Bucknell are not far behind.
