Andrew Wilson is a 2021 Olympian, Olympic champion, and the first DIII swimmer to make the US Olympic team in history. Andrew Wilson attended one of the nation's finest boarding schools in Massachusetts where he swam and played water polo. His mother was a gymnast at Yale and his sister swam at Northwestern. He is a huge car fan and loves listening to Hoobastank. Wilson is studying physics and applied mathematics at Emory University. College Swimming 2012-2013 Coming into college, Wilsons best time in the 100 breast was 59.4 and 1:59.9 in the 200 IM. At the 2013 UAA Championships Wilson went lifetime bests in everything he swam: 200 breast(2:02.51), 100 breast(56.25), 200 IM(1:53.34). Other than the fact that he crushed his previous lifetime bests, Wilson also qualified for NCAAs. At 2013 DIII NCAAs Wilson again dropped in all of his events, earning him 4th place in the 100 breast and 7th in the 200 breast. 2013-2014 Wilson started his Sophomore season out fast at the Miami Invitational where he earned best times in the 100 and 200 breast.
