Make that TWO second swims for Purdue senior Emily Fogle! Congratulations on a great career; after pushing through multiple hip surgeries, the passing of her mother, and an eating disoder, Fogle is an inspiration to the swimming and sport community in general. All-American in her senior year after all of that adversity!

Danielle Galyer won the Elite 90 Award, given to the athlete with the highest GPA at an NCAA Championship site, and then became the first Kentucky swimmer in history to win an individual NCAA title.

Too cute. Amy Bilquist, Cal freshman, put up a 4th place finish in the 100 back and a 5th place finish in the 200 back, along with contributing on relays, to help push Cal to a 3rd place finish at NCAAs this weekend.

Congrats to Mireia Belmonte and the birth of her nephew. Belmonte was busy swimming this weekend, including putting up a huge 200 fly at Spanish Nationals. Her time of 2:06.34 rockets her to the #1 time in the world this season.
