SwimJams: Eugene Godsoe Covers Drake’s “Hotline Bling”

National teamer and musician Eugene Godsoe is at it again, this time with a piano cover of Drake’s “Hotline Bling.”

On his Youtube Channel, Godsoe said:

“A couple of my resolutions for 2016 are to put myself out there more and to create better habits. Part of that is consistently doing more to make myself better, and releasing music so it doesn’t just collect dust for no one to hear. Here’s to hopefully the first of many more piano covers this year. I thought Hotline Bling could use one… Let me know if you have any suggestions for songs in the future! Happy 2016 everyone.”

Godsoe is fresh off a third-place performance in his signature 100 backstroke at the 2015 Duel in the Pool. He is currently ranked 5th in the event in the U.S. and 27th in the world (for more information on his chances at making the Olympic team, check out our Men’s Formchart).

In the past, Godsoe has done covers of Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space”Passenger’s “Let Her Go”, Cazzette’s “Sleepless”, Zedd’s “I Want You To Know”, Hopium’s “Dreamers”, and Tritonal’s “Anchor.” He has also released a couple of original songs.
