Yurchishin is a national-level breaststroker out of San Antonio, Texas. A senior at Northside Health Careers High School in San Antonio, she won the 100 breast and placed fourth in the 100 free at the 2014 Texas High School 5A Swimming and Diving Championships. Yurchishin competed at the 2014 Speedo Junior Nationals in the 100m and 200m breast. Her best times are:

100y breast: 1:03.04 100m breast: 1:14.09

100y free: 51.10 100m free: 1:00.43
200y IM: 2:04.83 200m IM: 2:27.14

Yurchishin has shown signs she will be a big contributor for the Crimson Tide with the improvement she has done over the last year. In short course season she cut 2.8 seconds off her 100 breast time. She knocked 2.2 off her LCM 100 breast last summer, and 4.4 off the 200 breast.

Alabama is also picking up Caroline Beene and Katie Kelsoe in the class of 2019.
