The Purdue Boilermakers have picked up three more commitments for their women’s recruiting class of 2026. Alexis Peltcs will join the team from Ohio. Mackenzie Britt is coming from Georgia, and Alayna Riggins is staying in-state from Indiana.
Purdue competes in the Big Ten conference, and their women finished 8th at last year’s championships, bringing in 497 points ot UCLA’s 605.5.
Alexis Peltcs is a breaststroker and IMer, who swims for Central Ohio Aquatics in Hilliard, Ohio. At the 2026 OHSAA State Championships, she finished 3rd in the 100 breaststroke, setting a season best time of 1:02.04 in the event. Her lifetime best stands at 1:01.62 from February of 2025.
Peltcs Lifetime Best Times (SCY)
- 100 Breast — 1:01.62
- 200 Breast — 2:15.81
- 200 IM — 2:03.87
- 400 IM — 4:27.66
Peltcs will be a huge asset to the Purdue team, with their fastest 100 breaststroker from last season, Meghan Sharma, coming in at 1:01.99. In the 200 breaststroke, her best time would have been 2nd to Maddie Phillips.
At last year’s Big Ten Championships, Peltcs would have scored in the ‘C’ final in the 100 breaststroke, finishing 23rd overall, and she would have also likely swum on Purdue’s medley relays at the meet, which finished 9th in both.
Mackenzie Britt is a distance swimmer from Lawrenceville, Georgia, who swims for SwimAtlanta. She won the 500 freestyle at the Georgia 6A State Championships, swimming a personal best 4:53.49 to earn the gold medal. She also swam the 200 free, touching in 1:52.47 to take the bronze medal.
Britt’s Best Times SCY
- 200 Free — 1:52.47
- 500 free — 4:53.49
- 1650 free — 16:44.67
She will be a depth piece for the Boilermakers distance program, who graduated their top distance swimmer, Reagan Mattice, after last season, and only has one more year with their next best distance swimmer, Caitlin Hurley.
On last year’s team, Britt would have been 4th in the 1650, 5th in the 500, and 8th in the 200 freestyle.
Alayna Riggins is from Osceola, Indiana where she swims for Irish Aquatics out of Notre Dame. She is a sprint freestyle and butterflyer, who finished 5th in the 50 free (23.28) and 4th in the 100 fly (53.97) at the 2026 Indiana State Championships.
She dropped more time the following month at the Indiana Senior Swimming Championships, dipping under 23 to swim 22.97 in the 50 free, and swimming 53.78 in the 100 fly.

- 50 free — 22.97
- 100 free — 50.61
- 100 fly — 53.78

Riggins is another major addition to the Purdue program. Her best time in the 50 would have been 3rd on last season’s team, with top 50 freestyler Hannah Hill graduating after last year. In the 100 free, she would have been 6th, and in the 100 fly she would have been 3rd.
These three will join BOTR recruit Caroline Mallard and Ella Dziobak in West Lafayette as members of the freshman class this fall.
