Sam Short put his distance prowess on full display in Carmel, racing to a dominant win in the 1500 free. Short, the 2023 World Champion in the 400 free, spent a good chunk of time training and racing in the US last season. That trend is continuing for the Aussie with the World Cup circuit in North America this fall.
