Not only did Regan Smith take a decisive victory in the 400 IM at the Pro Swim in Westmont, but she also went a 3-second PB, dropping a 4:35. The Olympic champion said she was able to feel a bit smoother than she expected through the back half of the race, saying her breaststroke felt sronger than she thought it might and helping her finish strong.
Idk if anyone agrees but I think she would have the potential to be top 2 in the US in both IMs. In the 400 I think she could beat Grimes and even Weyant potentially. The 200 I think she has the potential to beat Alex
I think just about everyone agrees with you Regan on the 2 per country rule. 3 would be just fine in my opinion.

Absolutely Braden… there should be an exemption with the only question being about the threshold. I would put it at Top 8 because if you are projected to be a finalist at the Worlds/Olympics you need to be able to compete…. Full Stop
