The Quicksilver Swimming relay of Nathan Foucu, Clark Apuada, Isaac Litwiller, and Tyler Porter swam to a new Meet Record en route to the Winter Juniors West title on Friday night. The team touched in a 1:18.67, breaking the previous record of a 1:18.96 set earlier tonight at the East meet as Central Ohio Aquatics swam to a 1:18.96.

Central Ohio had broken the previous record of a 1:19.03 set by Bolles School Sharks in 2012. That Bolles School relay included Olympians Caeleb Dressel, Santo Condorelli, and Joseph Schooling.

Not only that, but the Quicksilver time also broke the 15-18 and 17-18 National Age Group Records. Both of those marks were previously held by the Spartan Aquatic Club, who set the records in March 2021.

Split Comparison

Quicksilver (2025 West) Central Ohio (2025 East) Spartan (2021) NAG Records Bolles School (2012) Meet Record
Nathan Foucu 19.87 Caden Mahl 20.26 Kamal Muhammad 20.24 Caeleb Dressel 19.82
Clark Apuada 20.06 Jake Lloyd 19.36 Nathaniel Stoffle 19.50 Santo Condorelli 19.39
Isaac Litwiller 19.29 Alex Wu 19.95 John Beamon 19.46 Emiro Goossen 20.26
Tyler Porter 19.45 Austin Carpenter 19.39 Colton McGrady 19.72 Joseph Schooling 19.56
1:18.67 1:18.96 1:28.92 1:19.03

The biggest difference today for Quicksilver was Isaac Litwiller‘s split of a 19.29. That was a huge split even compared to his flat start 50 last night when he swam a 20.17 for 12th.

Foucu led off in a lifetime best 19.87, marking his first time under 20 seconds. The Stanford commit’s previous best was a 20.08. We ranked Foucu 19th in the Class of 2026. Porter, an ASU commit, had the top time in that class heading into the fall and was an “Honorable Mention”, while Litwiller made the “Best of the Rest” as a sprint freestyler in our first rankings for the Class of 2027. He’s committed to Louisville, while Apuada has committed to the University of the Pacific.
