Pre NCAA Interview: Distance Freestyler CJ Smith – goals, how prep for 1650, being in zone

Sophomore Gopher CJ Smith shares goals, what it will take to place in his events at NCAAs this week, and what he does to warm up and prepare.

In high school, he swam in Chicago area, for YWCA Flying Fish, and he has had nice drops since being in college at the University of Minnesota, going from 15:21 to 14:52 in the 1650 (14th seed for NCAAs) and from 4:26 to 4:20 in the 500…so far.
