2026 NCAA Division II finalist Elias Noe has announced he will transfer to LSU for the upcoming 2026-2027 season. Noe just finished his junior season at UIndy.
The Denmark native most recently competed at the 2026 Division II NCAA Championships. There he scored nine points to help the UIndy men to a 4th place team finish. Noe was highlighted by a win in the ‘B’ final of the 100 fly as he swam a lifetime best 45.43. That time would have been 2nd if he had made the ‘A’ final. He also swam a lifetime best 43.82 100 free at the meet.
His 100 fly saw a huge progression during his junior season. His best time coming into the year was a 47.05 that he swam as a freshman at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championships. He was only 0.01 off that as a sophomore with a season best 47.06.
Noe’s Best SCY Times Are:
- 100 fly: 45.43
- 200 fly: 1:44.97
- 100 free: 43.82
The LSU men finished 7th out of 11 teams at the 2026 SEC Championships and went on to finish X at 2026 NCAAs. Jere Hribar led the team with 87 individual points at SECs including an SEC title in the 100 free with a 40.42.
Based on his best times, Noe is a huge addition to the LSU roster. He would have made the ‘B’ final of the 100 fly, an event the team had no finalists in. He is also an addition to the team’s medley relay as Caleb Ellis split a 46.45 in the team’s 400 medley relay that was 7th and only 0.02 seconds behind Kentucky’s 6th place finish and only 0.04 behind Georgia’s 5th place finish.
With Noe’s progression, he is not far off what it took to make NCAAs as the cutline was a 44.86 100 fly for non-automatic qualifiers.

Good for LSU! I think he’s going to do well there and is a good addition to their relays.
It’s much appreciated when you list their top times like this. I have noticed some articles not showing a bullet point list or chart but its a great way to scan the athletes level of performance.
Thank you.
