Marymount Launches Future Saints Swim Program

ARLINGTON, Va. – The Marymount (Va.) University Men’s and Women’s Swim Teams have launched their Future Saints Swimming Program. The Future Saints is a free Learn-To-Swim program, primarily serving children ages 6-18 of low-income families in Arlington and Northern Virginia.

Future Saints has three goals; 1. To teach children of low-income families how to swim; 2.to provide competitive swimming opportunities for children of low-income families thru our developmental program and association with the Clark Swim Club; and 3. To sponsor lifeguard training classes for children of low-income families.

Members of the Marymount University Swim Team and the Clark Swim Club volunteer their time to teach these lessons on Sunday mornings.
