Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.
Lilly Jayne (LJ) Allison, who hails from Austin, Texas, has committed to Arizona State University for 2026-27. At the time of her commitment last fall, she wrote on social media:
I am so excited to announce my verbal commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at Arizona State University. Thank you to Coach Herbie and Coach Derek for this amazing opportunity. Thank you to my family, friends and teammates for all of their support and to all of my coaches for pushing me and helping me achieve my goals. Can’t wait to be a Sun Devil! Forks Up!

- 200 Freestyle: 1:50.94

Allison is a rising senior at Austin Westlake High School. She swims year-round with Longhorn Aquatics and specializes in sprint free, breaststroke, and the 200 IM. She currently boasts PBs of 23.61 (50 free), 50.85 (100 free), 1:50.94 (200 free), 1:02.71 (100 breast), 2:16.69 (200 breast), and 2:02.92 (200 IM). She swam personal bests across all of her events during her junior season, except for her 200 IM, which she set as a sophomore.
Allison is a five-time finalist at the University Interscholastic League (UIL) 6A High School State meet, having finished 13th in the 100 free as a freshman, fifth in the 200 IM and 14th in the 100 breast as a sophomore, and sixth in the 100 breast and 11th in the 200 IM last February.
She has qualified for the Winter Junior Championships in each of the past three years, as well as the Summer Junior Nationals in 2023 and 2025. She scored twice across those meets, placing 16th in the 200m breast and 21st in the 100m breast in 2023.
The Arizona State women captured the 2025 Big 12 Conference Title with 1695 points, finishing over 400 points ahead of Arizona (1240 points). The Sun Devils went on to finish 19th at the 2025 NCAA Championships, where they scored 41.5 points.
Based on her best times, Allison has the potential to make an immediate impact at the conference level. Last season, her best time in the 200 IM would have scored in the ‘C’ final, while she’s just outside scoring range in her other top events. Times of 23.17 in the 50 free, 50.48 in the 100 free, and 1:49.72 in the 200 free were needed to earn a second swim, while 1:02.41 in the 100 breast and 2:15.67 in the 200 breast were required to score.
Allison will join the Sun Devils’ class of 2030 with Alyssa Albertyn, Belis Sakar, Ellie Chalupsky, Haddie Vohs, Maya Hetland, Olivia Colombo, Riley Christensen, Rowynn Biffart, and Wren Smith.
