For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.

Kyle Lehr of Cameron Park, California has announced his verbal commitment to join Southern Illinois University as a member of the class of 2024. Lehr attends Ponderosa High School and swims for Aquasol Swim Club.

Last spring, at the California CIF Sac-Joaquin Section Championships Lehr finished sixth in the 200 freestyle (1:41.42) and fourth in the 500 freestyle (4:37.12). He was also a finalist at the Champions Series-Carlsbad, finishing 23rd in the 200 free in a time of 1:42.01. At the 2019 Futures Championships (Mount Hood) this summer he finished 15th in the 100 meter free (52.90) and 23rd in the 200 meter free (1:57.29).
