The University of Iowa swimming and diving teams host its annual intrasquad meet at the UI Campus Recreation and Wellness Center Natatorium on Saturday at 9 a.m. (CT).
The Hawkeyes will break into two separate teams — the “Black” team and “Gold” team. Each team comprised of 13 individuals will participate in 23 events during the meet beginning with the women’s 200-medley relay and concluding with mixed diving.
Following the intrasquad meet the Hawkeyes open the 2017-18 season hosting Michigan State and Northern Iowa. Meet times are scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. (CT) and Friday, Oct. 6 at 10 a.m.
The Hawkeyes will also host an alumni meet beginning at 2 p.m. on Friday in honor of the 100 year anniversary of Iowa swimming and diving.
