NC State freshman Eneli Jefimova swam a 56.30 in the 100 breast to become the #3 performer all-time in the event. That also marked the #5 performance in history.

Jefimova also became the #3 performer all-time, sitting only behind Lilly King who holds the NCAA record of a 55.73 as well as behind Jasmine Nocentini who swam a 56.09 at the 2024 NCAA Championships. Jefimova entered the meet with a lifetime best 56.77 from ACCs last month, a time that had sat at the #14 performance all-time as well as had her as the #9 performer all-time. She now moves way up the rankings.

Jefimova arrived this past fall and becomes the 2nd swimmer in history to win the 100 breast for NC State. Sophie Hansson won the 100 breast at the 2021 NCAA Championships in a 57.23.
