Jasmine Nocentini was born in Padua, Italy.
At the age of 12, she left Italy, moving first to Panama with her family and then to the United States.
Nocentini swam two years at Florida International before transferring to Northwestern for the 2022-23 season. She ended her senior season at Northwestern early with a shoulder injury at a point when she was the top-ranked swimmer in the Big Ten in the 50 free and 100 breaststroke. Even without swimming at Big Tens or NCAAs, she finished the season ranked 10th in the country in the 100 breaststroke and 11th in the 50 free.
She currently swims with the University of Virginia (UVA) where she is coached by Todd DeSorbo.
In Italy, she is a member of Team Veneto.
In 2023 she made her debut with the Italian national swimming team at the European Short Course Championships, which took place in Otopeni (ROU).
In Otopeni he won:
- gold with mixed 4×50 medley relay (Lorenzo Mora, Nicolò Martinenghi, Silvia Di Pietro, Jasmine Nocentini 1:36.58)
- bronze in the women’s 50mr breaststroke 29.41
- silver with women’s 4×50 medley relay (Costanza Cocconcelli, Benedetta Pilato, Silvia Di Pietro and Jasmine Nocentini 1:43.97 Italian Record)
- silver Mixed 4×50 freestyle relay (Lorenzo Zazzeri, Alessandro Miressi, Jasmine Nocentini and Silvia Di Pietro 1:28.28 Italian Record)
