Daily Swimmer Dryland Workout – The Lion King

For the past few months, SwimSwam has been posting a daily swimming workout to help inspire swim coaches around the world who are looking for new ideas to try with their swimmers. Since most of the world’s pools are currently closed for business, we wanted to give swimmers and coaches an alternative set of dryland workouts to use to stay fit during the quarantine. These workouts will be designed to be done around the house. Some will use basic equipment, like medicine balls or stretch cords, while others will be all body-weight exercises.

These workouts are provided for informational purposes only.

Another workout brought to you by Coach Pullano, this is one we can all get behind – especially because it involves watching TV. Presenting the Lion King home workout.

Important question:
What qualifies as a “fight”?

Play fighting: like when Simba & Nala play wrestle in the beginning?
Verbal encounters: When Simba & Nala get into a tiff about if he’s a king & it doesn’t get resolved until WAAAAY later?
Any physical altercation: including when hyenas fight each other?
Good V Evil: Only physical altercations between “good” and “bad” forces?

Too much time to think. lolz
