Cody Miller posted a new vlog Wednesday morning giving fans a look into how his quarantine days have been going during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Olympic gold medalist expresses at the beginning of the video how he still is waking up early, whether it be running errands or doing workouts, and makes remarks alluding to watching the Netflix Tiger King series.

“The routine of waking up early and doing something physical in the morning and doing something that sucks remains the same,” says Miller.

Miller embarks on a journey to his local grocery store wearing his medical mask. He takes a moment to thank all essential employees for their support through the pandemic.

“Everyone at the grocery stores and over at the hospitals, we appreciate you.”

The United States national team member proceeds to take the audience with him on an 8-mile run. Miller expresses the feeling of pushing himself to go the extra mile, something he relates to the end of swim practice.

“With everything going on, my running is probably better than it has ever been before,” Miller says halfway through the run.

The video continues post-run of Miller doing yardwork, where he makes a special announcement about a new sponsor.

“I am getting a pool in this backyard very soon,” Miller exclaims but doesn’t announce who his new sponsor is.

Miller continues the video about how he has been playing Fortnite to stay in touch with his friends in the quarantine after of course, he performed a hard CrossFit workout the day prior.

“Just the fact that I’m able to socialize and engage with people in a constructive way for a period of time, I think it has value,” says Miller. Even though he admits the length that he played may be excessive.

After watching movies with his wife Ali, Miller concludes the video making sure everyone stays and healthy and talking about his new merch.

Cody Miller swam collegiately at Indiana University. There he was a Big Ten champion and NCAA All-American in the 100 and 200 breaststrokes. Miller won a bronze medal in the 100 breaststroke and gold as a member of USA’s 4 X 100 medley relay in the 2016 Olympics. He started his YouTube channel in October of 2017 where his vlog has become wildly popular in the swimming community, with well over 100,000 subscribers. Miller currently trains with the IU pro group, is a USA national team member and a swimmer for the ISL’s DC Tridents.
