Americans Release Full 28-Swimmer Roster for BHP Billiton SuperSeries, Including Open Water

USA Swimming has finalized their roster for the 2015 BHP Billiton SuperSport Series, adding 11 names to the 17 announced jointly in a press release by USA Swimming and Swimming Australia on Tuesday.

The event runs from January 30th-February 1st.

On Wednesday, USA Swimming finalized that roster, including the open water team members who will participate in the Swim the Swan competition, that carries its own, separate awards and prizes.

Given that the event limits each roster to 12 men and 12 women, at least three women and at least one man on the rosters below are racing open water only. The roster doesn’t designate those 24, but a USA Swimming spokesperson confirmed that Haley Anderson, Eva Fabian, Christine Jennings, Becca Mann, Andrew Gemmell, Alex Meyer, and Sean Ryan plan to swim open water.

While not on the official roster, Tristin Baxter, David Heron, and Chip Peterson are also expected in the open water Swim for the Swan event, which does allow open entries (as compared to the pool event).
