The Nova Southeastern women swam to another Division II relay record as the team of Zsofia Kurdi, Maxine Egner, Emilia Ronningdal, and Maya Esparza swam to a 3:17.37. That broke their own Division II record of a 3:17.92 that the team swam back in January. They also set a new meet record, breaking the previous meet record of a 3:18.04 set by Queens back in 2018 and 2019 when they tied their own mark.

Nova Southeastern notably left NCAA Champion Kristina Orban off of their relay tonight and still set the record. Orban won the individual 100 free earlier in tonight’s session with a 49.34.

Three of the four splits were the same, although it is important to note that Orban did not swim on the relay as Emilia Ronningdal took the spot. Kurdi led off in a 49.31, which was faster than her 49.41 flying start split from a month ago.

The Nova Southeastern women hold four of the five relay records, with the 400 medley relay being the lone exception as they West Florida women hold that record.
