NC State freshman Eneli Jefimova swam to a 56.77 in the 100 breaststroke to win the ACC title. That moves her to become the #9 performer all-time as well as the fastest freshman in history.

With her swim Jefimova becomes the #1 freshman all-time. Lilly King used to hold the top spot with a 56.85 which she swam to win the NCAA title back in 2016.
Jefimova represents Estonia at the international level and has transated her meters success into yards success well so far this season. She most notably has won gold in the LCM 100 breast at the 2024 European Championships and also won gold in the SCM 100 breast at the 2025 European Championships.
