Kenan Dracic from Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina has announced his commitment to continue his academic and athletic careers at Alabama beginning in fall 2026.

“After careful consideration, I am honored to announce my verbal commitment to pursue my academic and athletic career at the University of Alabama! First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to my family. Also I would like to thank my head coach Evelin and my first coach who introduced me to swimming Haris, coach Catie and Margo for making my process easier, and friends who have provided me with the ability to excel in and out of the pool. I can’t wait to be a part of the Tide! Roll Tide”

Dracic swims for P.K. Sporttime Sarajevo and most recently competed at the 2025 SCM European Championships in Poland while he represented Bosnia and Herzegovina at the international level. There he swam to a best time of a 48.93 in the 100 free. he also was 55th in the 200 free in a 1:46.35.
