Fitter and Faster Swim Camps is the proud sponsor of SwimSwam’s College Recruiting Channel and all commitment news. For many, swimming in college is a lifelong dream that is pursued with dedication and determination. Fitter and Faster is proud to honor these athletes and those who supported them on their journey.
Davi Carvalho from Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Tyler Phillips from Herndon, Virginia, have signed scholarship agreements with Stanford University for the 2026-27 school year. They will join fellow Cardinal commits Maxwell Stanislaus (#8 in the class), Nathan Foucu (#19), Enzo Desviat Ruiz, Evangelos Efraim Ntoumas from Greece, and Sander Sorensen from Norway. The Stanford men’s team has become increasingly international over the last 8 years, going from 10-20% foreign athletes to, now, 3 in 7 for the class of 2030.
Tyler Phillips

“I am overjoyed to announce my commitment to continue my athletic and academic career at Stanford University! First and foremost I’d like to thank my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for the incredible talents and opportunities He’s blessed me with. I’d also like to thank my parents and all my family and friends for always supporting and encouraging me. Additionally, a huge thank you to coaches Pete, Morgan, Alyssa, and Jason, and all my teammates from NCAP, TCS, and Froggers. Finally, I’d like to thank Coaches Dan and Mike from Stanford for this amazing opportunity! Go trees! 🌲🌲”
