More school records went down on night 3 in Iowa City and Washington State earned four wins on the night, highlighted by a school record setting 400 medley relay. The team of Anna Rauchholz, Ashlyn Hernandez, Emily Lundgren, and Darcy Revitt posted a 3:33.12. That got under the old school record of a 3:34.13 set only in February 2025 at the Mountain West Championships.

Rauchholz also earned an individual win on the night swimming to a 52.57 in the 100 backstroke. Rauchholz entered the meet as the school record holder in the event already with a 53.34 from the 2025 Mountain West Championships. She lowered that in prelims with a 53.24 before swimming even faster at night.

Lundgren swam butterfly for Washington State’s relay but is primarily a breaststroker and was the lone swimmer under 1:00 in the 100 breast as she swam to a 59.42 in her win. The swim marked a season best. Lundgren’s best time is a 58.83 which she swam for 15th in prelims at the 2025 NCAA Championships to make the ‘B’ final.

Lauren Wille also earned a win for Washington State posting a 1:46.78 in the 200 free. That marks her 2nd best swim all-time as she swam a 1:46.74 leading off the team’s 800 free relay on night 1 and she entered the meet with a lifetime best 1:48.59.

The night kicked off with Beatrix Tanko earning the first win of the night as she posted a 52.03 in the 100 fly. That broke the previous Nebraska school record of a 52.63 set by Anna Vlachou in 2025. Also posting a school record in the 100 fly was 2nd place finisher Lydia Lafferty of Kansas as she swam to a 52.96.

Olivia Swalley of Iowa won the 400 IM in a season best 4:11.23, a time that is about half a second off her own school record time of a 4:10.54. She won the event by over three seconds ahead of Nebraska’s Gena Jorgenson who touched in a 4:14.40. Jorgenson is also already Nebraska’s school record holder as her best time is a 4:11.51.
