The Brown women swam to a win over Yale earning the win 160-140. Brown was coming off of a loss on Friday to Harvard.

Sweeping the sprint events was Brown’s Morgan Lukinac who swam to a 22.99 in the 50 free and a 48.54 in the 100 free. Her 100 free time was only 0.01 off her lifetime best 48.53 that she swam for 2nd at the 2025 Ivy League Championships.

In addition to her individual wins, Lukinac swam alongside teammates Crystal Yuen, Kelly Dolce, and Isabella Dieffenthaller for the win in the 400 free relay as they touched in a 3:17.57. Splits are unavailable on Meet Mobile at time of publishing.

Yuen earned her own win as she won the 500 free in a 4:48.53, just off her lifetime best 4:47.50 that she swam for 6th at the 2025 Ivy League Championships. She also was 2nd in the 200 free (1:45.87) behind teammate Dieffenthaller who won in a 1:45.39. That marked a new lifetime best for the freshman Dieffenthaller who arrived this fall with a lifetime best 1:45.68. Dieffenthaller also broke Lukinac’s school record in the 200 free that stood at a 1:45.49.

Leading the way for Yale with three wins for Jessey Li. Li swept the breaststroke events touching in a 1:00.20 in the 100 breast and a 2:13.62 in the 200 breast. Li swam a 1:00.14 in the 100 breast two weeks ago against Penn State but was faster today in the 200 breast after swimming a 2:14.60 against Penn State.

Li was also a member of the team’s winning 200 medley relay. Devyn Sargent led off and was followed by Li, Penny Zarczynski, and Sara Plunkett as they touched in a 1:39.23. Brown’s ‘A’ relay was DQed.

Sargent swam to an individual win of her own as she won the 100 back in a 54.50. She also finished 2nd in the 200 back touching in a 1:57.56 behind Brown’s Nadia Thomas who won in a 1:57.45.

In her second meet for Yale, freshman and Canadian native Angela Wang won the 200 fly in a 2:00.77. That was faster than her 2:01.23 she swam to win during the scrimmage against Penn State.
