Rising Multi-talented star Audrey Derivaux shone brightly this summer, competing at the World Junior Championships in Romania and coming away with 3 individual golds, a silver, and a relay gold. SwimSwam sat down with Derivaux to discuss what her training has looked like this summer and what her experience was like in Otopeni with Team USA.

They occasionally drive out there for specific people but Paul has said it’s quite a ways from their home pool, iirc like 45 minutes to an hour.

Yes, but they only change it for the summer bc it’s a lot of work to switch the pool. They only keep it long course from about may-August

request — can we ask more questions about event selection? audrey has 6 events she could theoretically pursue and will likely need to make some hard decisions about which to prioritize in the next couple years

Coleman, missed opportunity to ask her if she still swims in the south jersey summer league that holds all their meets in SCM!

(yes it is very random, but its real, new jersey is apparently the future)
