Both Elliot Leasure and Harper Rauch were spectacular at the Aquajets Summer Spectacular in the last week of June.
Leasure, a 13-year-old swimming for Rochester Swim Club, won five events in the boys’ event, setting personal best times in four of them. Leasure topped the field in the 400 free (4:19.12), 100 back (58.42), 200 IM (2:12.73) and 400 IM (4:49.26) in personal best times.
He also won the 200 back (2:08.72) and set a personal best time to take ninth in the 100 free (55.52). In the 13-14 boys’ age group this season, Leasure has the second-fastest times in both the 100 and 200 back, and the 12th-fastest in the 200 IM. His time in the 100 back ranks 32nd all-time in the 13-14 age group.
Rauch, a 12-year-old for the Chicago Wolf Pack, set personal best times in six events during the girls’ event. She won the 200 free (2:13.68), 400 free (4:34.84) and 1500 free (4:39.33), was 2nd in the 100 free (1:03.90), 200 fly (2:38.37), and 3rd in the 100 fly (1:11.90).
Among 12-year-old girls this season, Rauch owns the fastest time in the 1500 free, the second-fastest in the 400 free and the 12th-fastest in the 200 free. Her time in the 1500 free is 39th all-time in the 11-12 age group.
Other individual standouts were:
- Kai Joyner, a 15-year-old from the Rochester Orcas Swim Club, swam personal best times in the boys’ event to finish 2nd in both the 400 free (3:59.99) and 100 back (58.65), 3rd in the 400 IM (4:39.33) and 7th in the 50 free (24.08). Among 15-year-old boys this season, Joyner has the fourth-fastest time in the 400 free, the ninth-fastest in the 50 free and the 10th-fastest in the 100 back.
- Lucy Velte, a 16-year-old from Empire Swim Club, swam personal bests in four events during the girls’ competition. She won the 400 free (4:20.14 in the finals after swimming 4:19.54 in prelims), and the 100 fly (1:00.30), was 2nd in the 100 free (*56.87) and 4th in the 50 free (26.21). Among 16-year-old girls this season, Velte has the fourth-fastest time in the 100 fly, the eighth-fastest times in both the 50 and 100 free, and the ninth-fastest in the 400 free.
- Adalynn Biegler, 16, of Edina Swim Club, won the 50 free (25.81), 100 free (56.24) and the 200 IM (2:19.34) in the girls’ event. Among 16-year-old girls this season, she has the second-fastest time in the 100 free, the third-fastest in the 50 free and the sixth-fastest in the 200 IM.
- Grant Brown, an 11-year-old from Madison Aquatic Club, won the 200 free (2:18.97), 200 IM (2:33.69) and 400 IM (5:22.36) in personal best times during the boys’ competition. He also won the 800 free (9:50.72) and set a personal best time of 4:48.18 to finish 2nd in the 400 free. Brown owns the second-fastest time among 11-year-old boys this season in the 800 free.
- Karsyn Ward, a 13-year-old from Empire KC Swim Club, won the 200 back in the girls’ competition in a time of 2:19.10. She was 2nd in the 100 back in a personal best time of 1:05.01. Among 13-year-old girls this season, she owns the second-fastest times in both events.
- Libby Bakker, an 18-year-old Missouri commit who swims for Aquajets Swim Team, won the 100 back in a personal best time of 1:02.42 and the 200 back in a time of 2:15.58 in the girls’ event. Among 18-year-old girls this season, she has the 11th-fastest time in the 100 back and the 15th-fastest in the 200 back.
- Micah Davis, a 17-year-old Virginia commit from Aquajets Swim Team, won the 100 fly in a personal best time of 53.49 during the boys’ event. He has the second-fastest time in that event this season among 17-year-old boys.
- Brecken Curran, a 14-year-old from Madison Aquatic Club, was 2nd in the 100 back with a personal best time of 1:01.29 in the boys’ event. He has the third-fastest time in that event among 14-year-old boys this season.

Not sure where you got your information but There was no team scoring tracked for the meet. No way lifetime made top five compared to some of the other bigger teams.
