Now, we’re thrilled to be expanding our product line to bring even more high-quality equipment to aquatic facilities. Soon, customers will be able to order floating goals to complete their water polo field of play.
This upcoming addition to our product line is crafted with the same meticulous attention to detail and quality that our customers expect from every Competitor product.
Competitor Water Polo Equipment
Competitor’s water polo field of play will now feature sidelines, tethers, and floating goals that meet FINA, USA Water Polo, NCAA, and NFHS standards. Here’s a breakdown of each product:
- Sidelines – Competitor’s water polo field of play features two sidelines, with the distance between the goal lines set at 25 meters for women, 30 meters for men, or approximately 75 feet. The sidelines of the field of play are color-coded for clarity: red from the goal line to the 2-meter line, yellow from the 2-meter line to the 5-meter line, and green at the midpoint of the sideline. Additionally, a white center mark is always present.
- Floating Goals – These will be able to be easily secured to the pool wall using one or two lanes on each side, known as “tethers.”
- Tethers – Tethers are typically white, with the re-entry area clearly marked by 2 meters of red. Tethers are securely attached to the pool wall and custom-made to fit any pool dimension.
Competitor water polo lanes also come fully assembled and are available in two options: Competitor Standard with 4-inch discs or Gold Medal with 6-inch discs. Plus, every Competitor disc features LifeSpan+, a proprietary additive formula that enhances durability and extends the lifespan of your lane lines.
We’re thrilled to soon offer this latest addition to our lineup! With access to this new product, customers will also have the ability to seamlessly incorporate floating goals into a custom diagram for their water polo field of play.
