PULLMAN, Wash. (January 17, 2025) – Washington State Swimming swept all 11 events and set three Gibb Pool records in a dominating 165-39 win over Utah Tech at Gibb Pool Friday.
The Cougars improved to 6-0 in dual meets this season, the best start since 2008-09. WSU set pool records in the 400 medley relay, 200 breast and 200 free relay.
The 400 medley relay team of Anna Rauchholz, Emily Lundgren, Dori Hathazi and Emma Wright opened the night with a pool-record 3:37.68 before Lauren Willie posted a seven-second win in the mile. Senior Angela Di Palo picked up her first win of the season after taking the 200 free, freshman Darcy Revitt notched her fourth 50 free win of the season and Lundgren claimed the 400 IM with the ninth-fastest time in the event in program history, 4:17.83.
Hathazi added a win in the 200 fly with an NCAA “B” time (1:57.13), Revitt picked up a win in 100 free and Ariel Wang won the 200 back. Senior Selena Duran Ortiz provided a big highlight late in the meet, picking up her first career individual win after taking the 100 IM before Lundgren set a pool record with an NCAA “B” time in the 200 breast. The junior from Chula Vista, Calif. leads the team with 16 individual wins this season.
The Cougars closed the night with a pool record by the 200 free relay team of Wright, Addyson Lewis, Skylar Brgoch and Revitt.
Washington State will close out the regular season in two weekends, hosting Idaho January 31 and facing the Vandals in Moscow Feb. 1.

Utah Tech combined for one school record and several season-best marks in the Trailblazers’ first dual meet of the 2025 calendar year at Washington State on Friday night at the WSU Gibb Pool.
Cera Mallory accounted for the Blazers’ new school record in the first individual race of the meet, the 1,650-yard freestyle, as she posted the first sub-17 minute time in program history with a fourth-place 16:59.96. The sophomore bettered the previous school record by more than five seconds.
Mallory would later clock the eighth-fastest time in Utah Tech history in the 200 breast with a runner-up 2:17.88.
Fellow sophomore Grace Benson also came away with a runner-up showing in the 100 IM with a team season-best time of 58.56, which was also the fourth-fastest mark in program history.
In addition, Mary Sims Cross posted Utah Tech’s season-best time in the 200 back with a third-place 2:02.65, while Alyssa Gordon swam the team’s top season mark in the 400 IM at 4:27.16, and Gabby Henry clocked the Blazers’ season-best time in the 200 fly with a 2:05.28.
Utah Tech then closed the night with its top season time in the 200 free relay, with Mandy Farnum, Henry, Natalia Zmierczak and Benson combining to post a third place 1:36.62.
In all, 19 total season best marks were established during the 11-event dual meet.
Utah Tech will quickly turn around and head across the border to Moscow for a two-team dual WAC dual at Idaho on Saturday beginning at 12 noon (MT).
