No Modglin? He’s a big boost all around.

Texas is toast this year. This team lacks identity (and about 140 individual points) without the foster brothers, Johnston, Corbeau, Krueger, etc.

Hopefully they can develop some young guns this year and remain relatively competitive in the top 6

A tough spot to be in if you’re a longhorns fan

It’s no secret, but Texas is in a bit of trouble if this meet is indicative of the rest of the season

We have to keep in mind this is the beginning of the season and not all teams perform in season like ASU. Everyone has their own plan and they just need to stick to it.

Take a look at results from last year. Of course, not all years are the same, but to the extent they are, this year was across the board significantly slower.

The thing that concerns me the most is the lack of firepower and depth in the sprints. They only had 2 or 3 guys out of 16 split under 20 in the 200 free relay. Even for early in the season 19s with a relay start should be a dime a dozen for a powerhouse like Texas. Even if guys develop into individual scorers they don’t have the relays to place top 5 this year

Carozza’s 200 is maybe the only standout swim. 100 breast and 1000 are maybe the next best swims.

Yea, and even those were significantly slower than last year. Enyeart went 8:53 last year, over 9:00 this year

Texas is going to be fighting to stay in top 6 come NCAAs

Ehh. Wasn’t too impressed by Indiana’s intrasquad results. If Texas’ diving picks up this year, I think Texas over Indiana.

Delusional

IU was also in briefs and still had faster times across the board than Texas

Didn’t know they were in briefs.

I guess Miroslaw is beating Hobson come NCAA’s… 🙁

The real highlight of the IU intrasquad was Blake Peironi cold Turkeying a 200 free and going 1:35 in a brief

Smiley’s 1 fly was also pleasantly surprising

Coleman Hodges

Coleman started his journey in the water at age 1, and although he actually has no memory of that, something must have stuck. A Missouri native, he joined the Columbia Swim Club at age 9, where he is still remembered for his stylish dragon swim trunks. After giving up on …
