16YO Charlie Cancelmo Talks Young Guns from Washington Winning in Sacramento

In the last event of the meet at the Pro Swim in Sacramento, 16-year-old Charlie Cancelmo from Seattle Metropolitan Aquatic Club hammered home the last 100 and took the win in the men’s 200 fly. This resembled an earlier win in the meet when another 16-year-old boy from Washington, West Coast Aquatics’ Syunta Lee, won the 400 IM. Cancelmo reflects that it means a lot to see the people you grew up racing with have success all together.
