Davis, Calif. – UC Davis closed the regular season on a high note on Saturday afternoon, completing a lopsided 187-107 win over Pacific at Schaal Aquatic Center.

Saturday’s dual meet was the final chance for Aggie swimmers and divers to compete before the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships in two weeks, and doubled as head coach Matt Macedo‘s first MPSF dual win leading UC Davis.

The Aggies opened the meet by getting a quick 11 points with a three-second win in the 200 medley relay. Though Pacific placed well in the 1000 free to make it 18-all through two events, the Aggies went on to win 11 individual events.

Anna Lee won the 200 free in a season-best 1:53.80 and the 100 fly in 56.64, Caroline Eckel won the 100 back in 57.75, Sam Rhodes continued to rack up wins by taking the 100 breast with a collegiate PR of 1:04.51 and later the 200 breast in 2:19.39, Sophia Sebastian won the 200 fly in 2:08.17, and Dani Fasan won the 50 free in 24.17 and the 100 free in 52.30.
