DURHAM, N.C. – Duke swimming and diving head coach Dan Colella is pleased to announce the remainder of the 2020-21 swimming and diving schedule.

“I’m really excited to announce the rest of our 2020-21 competition slate,” Colella stated. “We are all looking forward to continuing where we left off at the Janis Hape Dowd Invitational two weeks ago. We have a great lineup of dual meets in January to prepare us for the ACC and NCAA Championships.”

The Blue Devils will host two meets and travel to one in January in preparation for the postseason beginning in February.

Duke’s first opponent of 2021 will be Queens University of Charlotte on Saturday, Jan. 9. The meet will be at Taishoff Aquatics Pavilion and begin at 11 a.m. In seven all-time meetings with Queens, Duke’s women are a perfect 7-0 while the men are 6-1. The Blue Devils swept Queens, a perennial Division II powerhouse, 147-115 and 172-89 in the men’s and women’s, respectively, in January 2020.

Senior Day will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 16, as the Blue Devils host NC State at Taishoff Aquatics Pavilion. Diving will begin at 11 a.m., with swimming to follow at 2 p.m. Duke will be in search of its first win against the Wolfpack, whose squads currently both rank in the top-10, since 2004 and 2009 for the men and women, respectively.

Duke rounds out its 2021 dual meet season with a trip down Tobacco Road as they face North Carolina. The Tar Heels will host the Blue Devils on Saturday, Jan. 30 at 1 p.m. in Koury Natatorium.

Following the conclusion of the season, Duke will shift its focus onto postseason meets. Both conference meets will take place in Greensboro, N.C., at the Greensboro Aquatics Center. The women’s meet will run from Feb. 17-20 while the men will compete Feb. 24-27.

Select Blue Devils will also represent Duke at the Bulldog Invitational Last Chance Meet in Athens, Ga., Feb. 27-28. The meet will serve as Duke’s last chance meet.

The NCAA Zone B Diving Championships will run from March 8-10. The location of the meet is to be determined.

After being canceled last season, the NCAA Championships return in March. Both the men’s and the women’s championships will be hosted at the Greensboro Aquatics Center. The women will compete March 17-20 while the men’s meet will take place the following week, March 24-27.

As previously announced, all Duke home athletic events will continue to be held with no fans. Schedules are subject to change, and changes will be published on social media and GoDuke.com.

Fans can follow the Blue Devils at GoDuke.com and via the team’s official social media channels, @DukeSwimDive, on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
