STORRS, Conn. – The UConn men’s swimming and diving team ended Saturday’s meet against Army with a deadlocked 150-150 score at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium.
The 400 Free relay team of Kyle Dunlap, Jack Muratori, Josh Wroblewski and Will Kearsey swam a pool record 3:02.36 to earn a first place finish in the final race of the day to come back and lock up the meet at 150 points.
Wroblewski posted wins in the 200 and 500 Free while Kyle Dunlap earned a first place finish in the 100 Free.
The UConn women’s swimming and diving team captured a 212-88 win against Army in dual meet action on Saturday afternoon at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium.
The Huskies were clicking on Saturday with Jennie Novak, Ryan Dulaney, Linnea Anderson and Georgia Apostolu all capturing multiple wins.
Novak secured a win in the 200 IM (2:06.52) and 100 Free (52.38) while taking a third place finish in the 50 Free.
Dulaney showed strides that she made from last season by shedding nine seconds off her 1000 Free (10:20.10) and four second off her 500 Free (5:03.25).
Anderson contributed to four UConn first place races with wins in the 50 Free, 100 Fly and added wins in both the 200 Medley Relay and 400 Free Relay.
Erin Clifford highlighted the diving portion of the meet by capturing an NCAA Zones qualifying score that sends her to NCAA Zone A competition at West Virginia in March.
UConn quickly returns to action next weekend with a pair of meets up in Boston at Boston College (Nov. 8) and Boston University (Nov. 9).

Mandolin Nguyen shined for the Black Knights against the Huskies. The freshman claimed a pair of individual event victories, while also grabbing a second-place finish in the 200 IM. She additionally helped the Cadets take second in the 200 medley relay.

Good to see the UCONN getting local kids like Karl, Alex, North, Billy, Josh, McAlister and Jack
Love seeing the development of UConn’s Juniors. Three wins and three great relay wins from Wroblewski and Dunlap alone! Beyond the juniors, North Hansen’s 1000 win, Kearsey’s 48.5 100 Back, Rowan King, Billy Regan and Jack Muratori‘s performances were huge as well. Understand: Army won this one 199-95 last year so UConn wins this tie.
UConn showed some fight this weekend and have a big weekend in Boston Friday/Saturday. They should handle BC but get handled by Duke. Here’s some races UConn will target:
