“We’re excited to get started, especially with our talented incoming class,” FSU head swimming and diving coach Neal Studd said. “We have a tough schedule, but that’s great to prepare us for championship season.”

The Seminoles signed 21 total student-athletes to both the men’s and women’s teams, with eight bringing major international competition experience to Tallahassee.

Both squads will also look to build off of historic 2018-19, where the men’s team finished 14th at the NCAA Championships after being ranked No. 22 in the CSCAA final poll, while the women tied its best dual meet record (11-1) in program history with wins over two ranked teams.

The Seminoles will also travel to Baton Rouge for a contest against LSU at 5 p.m. on Jan. 15. It will be the first matchup against the Tigers for Studd, and first for FSU since Oct. 14, 2011.

Did they tell you about the Cuts they have for garnet and gold? If you don’t make the cuts you get cut from the team completely. Very interesting that they don’t tell the incoming class or really anyone during recruiting until they get there.
