Bryant Signs Four To Men’s Class Of 2022

Bryant University men’s swimming and diving coach Katie Cameron added four to the Bulldogs’ Class of 2022, the program announced Wednesday.

“We are excited to welcome Eric, Nando, Evan and Ben to Bryant,” Cameron said. “All four will contribute immediately. Eric and Nando will definitely aid in the freestyle events. We are excited for them to contribute to the continued success of our program.”

Eric Bebel | Westfield, N.J. | Westfield HS

Before Bryant: A four-year member of the Blue Devils … three-time County Champions … won NJ State Championship and earned No. 1 State Ranking in 2015-16 … Swam club with Westfield Area Y Devilfish … three-time YMCA State Qualifer … two-time YMCA National Qualifier … Winner of the Bob Wright Award for Leadership … Earned distinguished honor roll achievement in the classroom.

Evan Clark | Doylestown, Pa. | Central Bucks HS East

Before Bryant: Two-year letterwinner on Patriots Swimming and Diving team … Won Most Valuable Diver award in 2016-17 … Qualified for Districts in the 2016-17 season under head coach Fred Dunn … Also won SOL League Championship in track in 2017 … Earned honor roll accolades in the classroom all three years of high school so far.

Benjamin Prouty | East Lyme, Conn. | East Lyme HS

Before Bryant: Four-year varsity diver for the Vikings … Won team Eastern Connecticut Conference Championship all three years under coaches Holly Buckley and Jen Lyman … Won individual ECC Championship in diving in 2016-17 after finishing second in 2015-16 … Was also named to ECC All-Star Team … Placed Top 5 in 2015-16 and 2016-17 at the Connecticut Class M State Finals.
