Florida’s 20th-ranked women’s swimming and diving team returns home to the Stephen C. O’Connell Center Natatorium on Saturday to compete against Florida Gulf Coast University at 10 a.m.

The last time the two of these teams faced off was on Jan. 31, 2009, when the Gator women topped the Eagles 84-28 on senior day.

Florida is looking to put a blemish on the Eagles’ perfect 3-0 record this season.

Through the first four meets of the year, six Gator women have recorded B-cut qualifying times in nine events. Junior Hannah Burns has three under her belt, notching qualifying times in the 200 fly, 200 IM and 400 IM. Sophomore Kelly Fertel has also qualified in two events of her own, the 200 IM and 400 IM.

Emma Ball (100 back), Kelsey Dambacher (200 free), Savanna Faulconer (400 IM) and Sydney Sell (200 back) all have registered one B-cut time as well.

The women are led on the boards by sophomore Brooke Madden who has won three events and has qualified for NCAA Zones in both the 1-meter and 3-meter.

UF is on the road after this meet, traveling to West Lafayette, Ind. for the Purdue Invitational on Nov. 16-18.

UF women vs. FGCU is the final home meet for the Gators until 2018, when both teams face Florida State on Jan. 5.
